Morally bankrupt defence lawyer falls in love with victim of violent crime

A "pitch film" for a drama feature called "Mr Goode" that I was unable to find finance for. We meet Charlie Goode (Noof Ousellam) plying his trade around police stations before meeting the enigmatic Ella Dee. The script has now evolved into something different called "Charlie+Ella=" though I no longer have any desire to direct it.
