One woman is destined to change the Irongate family forever

Based on a true story in the 1850's, a French woman moves over from Paris to England to be the governess to the wealthy Irongate family's youngest daughter Harriet. The Irongates are a self-made family who were the leading producers of Cannon for the British Navy in the Crimean War. She soon discovers a dark secret in the family and is caught up in a love triangle with disastrous consequences.
