This project is the pilot of a reggae inspired feature film with mass international appeal. Help us to bring ‘Ital Reign’, and its feature-length successor ‘Shy’ to the big screen! Born out of a desire to commit Birmingham's rich musical history to film,

‘Ital Reign’ tells the story of a man who has to choose fame or fatherhood, friends who have to choose loyalty or desire, and a young woman who has to choose to believe in herself. Featuring classic reggae DUB tracks alongside original music, ‘Ital Reign’ begins in 90's Birmingham, following a young reggae band aiming to make it big. As events unravel, it takes the viewer across generations and - in the future - across continents as it follows an over-protected young woman on a journey of self-discovery through music, culture and heritage.
