We all have friends we grow up with, who we laugh with, who we cry with, who we love!

We all have friends we grow up with, who we laugh with, who we cry with, who we love! However, no matter how far you travel in life, no matter where or how far you live, some friends never let go! Jake Harris never let go of Arran! Best friends from birth and now pen pals since Arrans big move at eighteen, every so often Arran writes to Jake letting him know of his wonderful travels, his girlfriend & family. Jake however lies about his volatile home life with his own girlfriend & child, and the letters begin to become increasingly disturbing. While Hannah struggles to deal with the harm Jake afflicts on her & Ellie, Jake continues to write Arran lies & deciet. The web continues to tangle as Jake becomes involved with a gay, street wise, loud mouth from a deprived area of the city. Jake begins to stay with new found friends Ethan & Carla, and begins to become part of their life fuelled by Drugs, Alcohol & antisocial behaviour, but the worlds a small place, and before long a can of worms is opened, and more people begin to piece the jigsaw of Jake's life together. Sometimes the truth is better left hidden, and sometimes old bonds are best let go, but as more people become involved in this dramatic tale, JAKE unfolds itself as a shocking & brutal independent film, that will leave you reeling from its brutality forever. Behind closed doors lies lives, all becoming tangled into "Jake's" story. A great current film that covers issues including Domestic Violence, Mental Illness, Obsession, Alcoholism, Drug Addiction & Sexuality.
