In this short drama, we follow a young, lost, yet likeable protagonist as she navigates the somewhat timeless predicament in a gritty beachside town.

We follow Jess, a 19-year-old woman living on the coast of Lincolnshire in the late 90s. She is adrift after being rejected from university and falls in with the wrong crowd of friends. After a drunken party, Jess has a one night stand with a stranger who happens to stumble in on their beach bonfire. Jess must come to terms with the consequences of a momentary lapse in judgment (unprotected sex) and face up to the possibility that she might be pregnant. Alone, insecure, and confused about who she really is, the stress of her mistake begins to interfere with her ability to be present in everyday life. Flashbacks to the night at the beach begin haunting Jess the day she goes to get her blood test results.
