July starts dating Mike. It all seems sweet and romantic, but things rapidly change after the two move together: Mike turns up the be overly jealous, controlling and abusive. While having a pregnancy test and after the umpteenth abuse, July finds a business card of IDA (a helpline service for domestic abuse). She calls for help and when the operator asks "Are you safe?", she replies in tears "I don't know".
