JUNK is set in an alternative present where recreational drugs have been legalised and the bulk of society is addicted. Dwindling resources also mean that while technology has advanced, all components are salvaged and recycled – this world of drugs and trash is the world of JUNK. A universal DNA Database where every citizen is registered at birth makes crime solving pretty simple for Frank, a no-nonsense detective. That is until he finds a mutilated body that apparently hasn’t yet been born...
