A romantic Northern rama about a hopelessly romantic school kid, living in post brexit Blackpool, who must attempt to escape his troublesome childhood and wearied life in order to find some content in his current circumstance. ‘Kind Hearts and Cornettos' attempts to describe current post brexit Blackpool, juxtaposed with the famously romantic, rock eating, donkey riding Blackpool, outsiders know and love still today. The short explores what Blackpool is like for the real people who live there and attempts to portray a society that has become increasingly disconnected through no fault of its own, whilst exploring themes of love and friendship and what it means to be a young boy with big dreams.
