At aged forty two Leonardo da Vinci is commissioned by the Duke of Milan to paint 'The Last Supper,' in doing so Leonardo breaks with tradition and choses a humble peasant to be the face of 'Christ.' What follows this decison is a tale of political and relaigious intrigue, sex, violence and betryal and ultimately redemption.
