Howard Brookes frustrated artist

Howard Brookes a once great artist is getting frustrated that he is unable to reinact his once great artistic work and subsequently takes it out on his long suffering wife by neglecting and often ignoring her as he becomes an obsessed workaholic and overt-trying in a bid to create a master-piece to impress his critical but undertstanding boss (Mr Taylor) played by Phil Richardson. Howard's wife Sheila (played by Michelle Harris) leaves Howard for a short time and goes and stays with her sister to allow Howard to work on creating a master-piece and is re-united with him when he finally manages to come up with a masterpiece to impress his boss.
