A father's desire puts not only his family at risk, but his son's relationship with best friend Joe. Like Joe, Loathe Joe is the story of two families so close that both are left potentially shattered. Luke's trust for his father leaves him blaming his best friend Joe for a betrayal he couldn't have stopped. Set in rural Yorkshire this film explores the fragility of the father son relationship, jealousy and most importantly friendship, all through the eyes of a young boy.
