Lily and The Revolution

2014, 13 minutes

An idyllic English village is the last place you would expect a Marxist revolution.

Lily and the Revolution is a short film about an 11 year old girl growing up in a tiny rural village. The film is set in the mid nineties just after Thatchers years as Prime Minister. Fuelled by her strong opinions and with the help of a bit of Karl Marx, Lily sets about starting a revolution in her village in order to change the world! She's a fun, cheeky and rebellious little girl who does what she wants and thinks she knows the last word on politics.
