Docu-Drama on the history of workers rights

'Locked Out' tells the tale of Thomas Redfern and his fellow workers at Derby Silk Mill in 1833, as they rebelled and made history. Walking out and taking a stand against their terrible treatment and working conditions the lock-out at Derby Silk Mill led to much of the protection we take for granted in the work place today – a testament to a community that pulled together and fought for what was right. This dramatised documentary, will be told using a combination of interviews with historians and short dramatised sequences to illustrate the story.
