A humble businessman begins to suspect his life is in the grips of a bizarre existential phenomenon. As his paranoia increases, his memory lapses begin to drive his long-suffering secretary up the wall - matters are not helped when his psychiatrist develops a drink problem. Will he uncover the truth before it's too late?
