Love Struck is a fast-paced and gritty modern-day urban love story, featuring intriguing characters and slick comedic dialogue. Taz - an up and coming championship kickboxer - is the protagonist, and the story explores how this tough and independent anti-hero's life changes forever when he has a chance encounter with Natasha, and then falls in love. A tragic childhood and a commitment to his passion - kick-boxing - have given Taz discipline and a fierce determination to succeed. When he meets the beautiful and wealthy Natasha, however, his life takes a completely unexpected turn. Tragedy strikes while Taz is out of London for a tournament. Natasha is drugged and raped by the fiancée of her best friend Love Struck addresses the normal problems of young people dealing with their emotions and struggling to get on in life. Adding the trauma of the date rape, coupled with Taz's childhood experience of an abusive father, provides an intriguing combination of feelings leading to a dramatic and unexpected result.
