A Mime's decent into despair
The Magnificent Marco tells the story of a young artistic mime who harbours dreams of entertaining his audience. The story is told using a non-linear structure and through this structure explores the idea of a persona; Marco, subject to the demands of his agent, finds himself torn between his ideals and commercial necessity. This leads him onto a path of self-discovery whereby the puppet becomes the puppeteer.
