A story of a father and daughter relationship, and the price of success
Miscast is a short film about a young, upcoming actress, Paula, who finally gets a small part in a TV series. She thinks it could her breakout, even if there's a sex scene included in the part. Paula has a very competitive relationship with his father, Peter, who's also an actor and he never supported her to choose acting as a career. On the shooting day Paula is already in the make up room, ready to shoot when she finds out that the sex scene is with her own father. The story ends with both of them finding their careers more important than their relation, so they fight for their small roles.
