Miserable Breen Coley

2015, 15 minutes

A short film about a washed up musician named Breen Coley.

In a grand house, somewhere posh in England, surrounded by vinyls, books, leather chairs and old CDs, lives a man. His name is Breen Coley. Once a famous rock star, Breen has fallen out of the lime light. Retreating Into his house and only venturing out for more books or organic vegetables, Breen has started a series of unsuccessful teen novels. On one of his recent trips to his nearest book store, to check on his book sales and acquire more books that will indulge his self pity, he encounters THE VOID. He is the worlds answer to Harry styles crossed with Morrissey or Nick Cave and a truly vacant, money scheming shell of a twenty year old. This and his later meeting with avid teen VOID fan Dylan, who helps Breen realise that under everything we are all suffering with our own problems, lead Breen to look at life differently.
