The story of the controversial relationship between Queen Victoria ( Judi Dench - Winner Golden Globe and Oscar nominated )and John Brown ( Billy Connolly) a manservant from her Balmoral estate.Their close relationship following the death of Victoria's husband Prince Albert caused scandal and dismay among the court and earned Victoria the soubriquet "Mrs Brown".
