A darkly humorous film about justice/revenge

A mildly mannered couple has a son who has fought in Afghanistan. He does not wish to return to a second period of duty and has committed something [unspecified]which has landed him in jail. A newspaper reporter has written several critical reports about him - unfairly, in the view of his parents. His father has managed to perform some form of hypnotic effect on the reporter who has been forced to run and run round the war memorial until th parents feel that justice has been meted out.
