6 year old Kuda is over the moon to discover that his older brother is a mermaid! But when their parents insist that Shorai must hide his secret, Kuda takes it upon himself to help Shorai show his tail to the world.

My Brother is a Mermaid is a 10 minute social-realist fairytale, about the unconditional love and admiration of a younger brother for their transgender sibling. ​ Through 6 year old Kuda’s eyes, we experience Shorai’s emotional battle with her family, her community, and herself.
