Nevermore

A suggestive horror film in which a photographer is taunted by a spiritual being
After finding a strange music box whilst out shooting on a gloomy beach, a photographer begins to see strange shadows and distortions appearing in his photos. Somewhat of an outsider, this reclused character is often seen working alone within his self-made studio/darkroom. Whilst working, he soon suspects that an unseen presence is the cause of these strange occurences, and decides to set up an experiment to try and capture the presence on camera and confront it. This stylistically experimental occult horror film, was developed around influences of Asian cinema, which uses the power of suggestion as a key tool in order to build up a tense and enigmatic atmosphere. The stylistic elements of the film are used in an interesting way, as they incorporate and reflect the content; for example, the spirit within the diegesis appears to begin to interfere with the film, just as it does with the photographs.
