The misunderstandings made by Thomas and Freya are darkly humorous, for in many ways this is a comedy of errors with a very tragic ending.

This is a film about ‘Openness’ in relationships, or more specifically the lack of openness. Thomas and Freya are an aspiring modern London couple who are both trying to communicate what they want to each other but in different ways. They are never quite able to communicate the truth, because if they did they may realise that they are not right for each and that is the hardest truth to bear sometimes. Thomas cannot be totally open about what he really wants and Freya cannot be totally open because although she hears Thomas she refuses to really listen to what he has to say. Both of them carry very different secrets and when they get the first chance to spend some real time with each other in months, this their walk home will bring out the truth for both of them.
