Surrealist: a Vietnamese refugee feels he has never really lived, then his worst nightmare appears to come true—in some sense he no longer exists.
“No More Than This” is a surrealist film about Nam Nguyen, a 57-year-old Vietnamese man who lives alone and works as a museum guard. Nam has a daughter from a failed marriage that he seldom sees, and tries to make a connection with other people but fails. He came to the UK as a refugee and has lived here for years but still feels invisible and does not feel belong in British society. One day his worst nightmare appears to come true, that in some sense, he no longer exists.
