the trip of 700 women from Istambul to N. York where they will meet the men they are going to marry
700 women travel by boat from Konstantinoupolis (Istambul)to New York in order to get married to men they have never actually met. On the ship travels A class a photographer who returns from his mission in M. Asia where he was covering the M.Asia's war. He fells in love with one of the brides, Niki, and tries to persuade her to leave with him but she prefers to stick to her beliefs and traditions. In the back ground we see many other relationships to develop.
