Thriller set against Nigerian Independence 1960.

Nigerian Police Inspector Danladi Waziri is sent to the multi-cultural trading town Akote by out-going British, District Colonial Officer, Rupert Winterbottom, to solve the murders of two women before the Governmental hand-over to autonomous, Nigerian rule on October 1st. On arrival in Akote, Waziri finds the murders have just begun.
