A man corrupted with guilt has a reoccurring dream that portrays a memory of him killing his wife. To maintain some form of intimacy between him and his wife he chooses to wear her old cloths and make-up. Feeling alone and trapped in his room he begins verbalising his thoughts and soon persuades himself to commit suicide. This takes him on a strange psychological trip that places him in a realm of endless darkness. Here he meets a woman (The Devil) that offers him a freedom from guilt and a choice, life or death. Following a discussion about how meaningless the man’s life has become ‘The Devil’ reveals that the man’s wife killed herself and that he is not responsible for her death. The heavy weight of guilt is then lifted as the man takes off his wife’s old dress and the make-up vanishes from his face. However, the choice between life and death is still there and undecided.
