POST|HUMAN is a dark science-fiction horror film, telling the story of a woman’s journey to the secluded, now abandoned asylum where her deceased mother once worked. Accompanied by three friends, she discovers that the ghosts of the past find a way to the present when the hospital’s legacy of experimentation, torture and madness tears away all bounds of time, memory and space. All the while the very real threat of nuclear apocalypse grows ever stronger in cities over the horizon. Poetic, brutal, funny, vicious, sincere, erotic and violent, POST|HUMAN, awash with crimson blood-letting and deep-blue longing, draws it’s genetics from teh cinema of nuclear paranoia, rural gothic horror, metaphysical science fiction and British genre cinema and re-interprets them, painting in intense and startling new ways
