One couple (and a pot plant): A relationship in crisis

"Myself, Oli Clubb and Matt Cotton decided last minute to embark on the adventure that is the 48 Hour London Film Festival this year. It was a whirlwind experience, that involved a lot of favours, a lot of improvisation and a lot of fun. At 7pm on Friday we got given a brief, the fantasy genre, a character, a prop and a line of dialouge… After re-conceptualising the whole thing at 2am we eventually came up with an idea at 4am, got it down on paper by 5am and went to sleep only to wake up at 7am to start shooting. We were blessed with two fantastic actors who completely embraced the script in about half an hour before shooting and away we went on a surprisingly smooth shoot, to be wrapped by 5pm. We had Sunday to edit and deliver the film by 7pm alongside other entrants, some very sweaty, having run in and been denied 1 minute past the deadline. We were delighted to win the audience award at the ceremony a few weeks later." Gulliver Moore
