A Chance To Shine
John has never really fitted in. He's never been academic and has always been picked on for his rugged looks... It came as no surprise to his family for him to develop a skill within boxing, it's his one shot at making something of himself... It's his one chance to shine. Meeting the woman of his dreams has always been top of his priority list, but has never happened... Until he meets Eva, an expired glamorous wine bar singer who has a lot in common with John. Damaged by a violent past, Eva is adamant she will not get involved with anybody like him; a young athlete with lots of potential... Within boxing. With the fight of his life approaching, John is wracked with guilt because of his career choice but desperately wants Eva's support.... But will he get it?
