Frenchman Roger Leconte became famous at the tender age of 12 and has worked extensively in music and cinema, as well as being the face of Paco Rabanne after-shave since 1981. However, Roger, AKA Proper Man, has been living in exile in London and tries to cope not only with the downturns in his fortunes, but also the cultural differences. But what truths can he ever hope to learn, when his life is like being trapped in one long advertisement?
