A true story based around a young man

WW1 short film based around the true story of Ralph Howells. He was a miner in the forest of Dean, before being persuaded by his best friend Arthur to sign up for king and country to fight in the great war. After being sold the experience as an adventure of a lifetime, he soon realises the true horrors of life on the front line. The film follows a story of brotherhood and a mother son relationship and the struggles faced when signing up to the army.
