Refuge

Jess and Cal, break into a derelict building, looking to make a home for themselves.

When Jess is left alone, she hears a man, Mark, being attacked on the street outside, he escapes into the building. Mark and Jess become aware of each other and begin a silent cat-and-mouse around the building. He becomes increasingly aggressive, then she traps him in a room. When his assailants come after him with dogs, she dithers about getting help, hiding while they tear him limb from limb and drag him from the building. Alone again, she confronts the blood on the floor, trying to process what has happened.
