Futuristic action film

England, 50 years from now is under strict authoritarian rule, with severe restrictions on freedom of expression. The restrictive system was put in place by a corrupt dictator on the pretext of responding to terrorist threats. A main casualty from the new regime is the lack of creativity, with people living more like robots. We follow the journey of Pip, a young food deliverer, who is struggling to cope with the restrictions. She finds relief in secretly painting the painful memories from her past. Pip befriends a convict and the pair escape to a refuge in nearby woods. Here they meet a group of rebels, who have formed a resistance movement against the oppressive regime. One night their camp is attacked by soldiers from the regime, and two rebels are killed. They decide to form an alliance to fight the corrupt regime.
