How can one persevere in a loveless relationship.

At this point in everyone's life they cling on to any and everything. Having observed that life as humans know it changes but deep down do we want that? Joshua, having graduated from university feels this and want nothing to change, so he is trying to keep hold of everything the only way he knows how. Which drives a wedge between him and his girlfriend. The more emotionally unstable he become the wider the wedge becomes which makes him more dominant and aggressive which drives his girlfriend to the breaking point.
