'Rise and Decline' is the story of Ben Coby, a young, talented musician.

'Rise and Decline' is the story of Ben Coby, a young, talented musician. He is the drummer in a world famous rockband, known as PKNick. At the end of the band's tour, tempers are frayed and Ben's relationship with his bandmates begins to fall apart. After a fiery end to their final gig, Ben spirals into a self destructive cycle, fuelled on by copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, Ben's last chance for salvation is his uncle, Frank, who chases him to confront his addictions and pull his life back together. Upon his return home, Ben's wife, Nancy, leaves him for one of his bandmates, left alone in his large country home, Ben hides from the world and his only family. Choosing to spend his days in the company of his favourite vices. Having isolated himself from everything and everyone he has ever known, Ben takes his own life, a last resort in a situation that he saw no way out of.
