16th Century period drama based on the first English colony of America in 1587. The story follows the trials and tribulations of governor John White who must return to his American colony after leaving to gather supplies. With food and supplies depleted, dissent begins to grow in the colony and Eleanor (His Daughtr) is left to pray for his quick return. The events that follow remain one of the greatest historical mysteries on record. Roanoke: The Lost Colony proves itself to be a fine example of the quality being produced from the low budget UK film sector.
