A raw and uncompromising docudrama about an Eastern-European sex worker in the UK and her pimp.

S is a politically and socially conscious account of one of the most disturbing and worrying phenomena in 21st-century Europe. It concentrates on two individuals and their intense, soul-killing and violent relationship to one another against the backdrop of sex-trafficking, prostitution and poverty in our world today. S is comprised of several, loosely connected scenes from the couple’s life. Jana prostitutes herself because she hopes she will be able to save up enough money to get her little daughter out of the foster home one day. However, almost all the money she makes selling herself on the streets goes to support Stan’s gambling passion. The two live in a love-hate relationship that puts extra tension on their already intense life together.
