How does a local catholic priest go against the might of the Vatican when he refuses to go along with a representative of the Vatican arriving in the small Irish village and insisting he goes along with the finding of a nail in a recently discovered tomb being that of a nail from the original cross, when he knows it to be a relic from a much later period the story being told through the eyes of the housekeepers young son who is worried about the man he sees as a father figure being humiliated by another younger, powerful personality. This film is being screened this week March 25th at the NFTS.
