Self Raising tells the story of a young woman tormented by depression and grief. As the story unwinds, the events that led her to here are revealed as she starts to fight her way back to a hopeful normality.
A young woman is tormented by a deep depression. As the story unwinds, we discovered the events that led her to here and how she starts to fight her way back to a hopeful normality. Hope is a young pediatric nurse who is devastated by the death of a young patient. Signed off from work with stress and plagued by dreams of suicide, she sinks deeper and deeper into depression. Within the fog of despair she finds a website with steps that encourage her to open up her life again. Through following these steps, she ends up with a freshly baked cake and a desire to help another lost soul. Through this stretch she is able to start to blow away the clouds of sadness.
