It is the 19th century - the very end of the Ottoman empire ruling in Bulgaria. There is an award for the head of a legendary brigand - Shibil. A cunning Bulgarian merchant devises a plot to capture the legendary outlaw by using his own daughter as bait. Both his daughter and the brigand fall into the trap of this impossible love and pay the ultimate price - their fatal ending.
