They say when you die, your life flashes before your eyes...but what if you haven't lived?
Cassidy is a teenage boy who experiences intense visions, shifts in reality, and suffers from symptoms of PTSD. Despite his psychiatrist and parents trying to get through to him, nothing helps and eventually it becomes clear that a small child he has been seeing in his 'shifts' is actually a vision of himself, revealing that he died in a car crash when he was very young. It plays with the idea that we see our life flash before our eyes before death though this is the vision of a troubled child who may have seen an imagined glimpse of what life could have been, his only understanding of reality however being condescending adults and his difficult home life
