Shore-Line - A Slow Walk Facing the Sea

Shore-Line - A Slow Walk Facing the Sea

2011, 60 minutes

Moving Living Art Project

On the deserted expanse of the old Rotunda site in Folkestone, Triennial artist, Hamish Fulton led a group walk unlike any other. Walkers made their way across a 4 metre expanse of concrete flat towards the sea in a thoughtful silence. Taking exactly one hour to complete this short distance, the artist and walkers created a striking piece of moving, living art. The film will premiere at The Turner Contemporary Gallery on 17 January. More info: http://www.turnercontemporary.org/exhibitions/hamish-fulton
