A man is on the brink of losing everything, even his wife, due to the economic downturn in Michigan, when tempted will he resort to his former bad habits to make ends meet or will luck save him?

Ben is a small town guy and auto industry worker. When Michigan is hit hard with economic depression he's laid off and can't make ends meet. He's on the brink of losing his home, and unknown to him he's about to lose his wife to his best friend. It's his best friend Bruce, however, that tempts him to relapse back into old drug habits to make ends meet. However when his luck changes Ben makes up his mind to do the right thing, but when he can't find his wife he sets off on a frantic search for her only to discover the worst.
