Tensions mount as three teenagers come to terms with divorce
Equally poignant and comic, this touching and truthful drama sensitively explores the tensions and awkwardnesses that emerge during, and after, an announcement of divorce, and how the teenage children retreat together to a place of sanctuary. It contains a wonderful scene in which the father, logical and excuriatingly uncomfortable, presents the divorce options for the children in the form of a powerpoint presentation, in much the same way as he would a business meeting.His proposals are navigated with his wife, guilty of having had an affair, incompetently and angrily operating the computer.This is richly absurd, and touching as it is witnessed by the shocked and uncomprehending children.
