Sloth is an intense illustration of decay, lethargy and control, within the context of a dying and deeply unhealthy marriage. Based on disturbing real life events, Sloth explores the extraordinary dark depths of a man named David who lives a stationary life in the pit of his armchair. We hope to create a literally infested atmosphere with the armchair and the single location surroundings, twisting, corrupting and decaying in unison with our main character. Is there any redemption for David? Can his long-suffering wife Claire save anything of the man she once loved? And if not, can she escape the grotesque manifestation engulfing her home?
