Smokeless Fire continues the story of Joanna, Liam and Sophie Brown from the short film, “ A Winter’s Mirage”. Widower Liam cannot come to terms with losing his wife and falls into a dark state of despair and drink. Visions of her haunt him during days and nights. He turns to drinking, which affects his relationship with his daughter, Sophie. Slowly, Liam becomes consumed with despair and inward. With his friend’s help, he gets in touch with a medium that can help Liam communicate with his deceased wife. A 40 day ritual begins, culminating on the last night when spirits are awakened and Liam and Sophie’s lives come in danger. Is Liam able to fight off the bad spirits and say the final goodbye to his wife…?
