Pensioners in bereavement find a new lease of life on their annual club 'holiday-in-hell'.

A regional bereavement club take their annual holiday in Iran and things start to go wrong. Cultural misunderstandings, jealous rivalry, political intolerance, crash landings and survival in the desert, armed incursions, love blossoms, natural disaster and an inevitable death of one of the club bring the group together in a riotous adventure comedy not seen since the 80's.
