1900 murder investigation
About Solitude' is a period drama set in the early to mid 1900's and has been envisioned to be stylised with noir elements of filmmaking. Description The story follows Robert, a detective in 1947. He was separated from his brother Peter in 1920 due to the murder of his parents. Peter had read about a Greek myth about placing coins on a victims eye so they can pay the ferry man Charon and enter the after life. After the murder, Robert was adopted and taken to the village of saltiare where a wealthy family brought him up. His brother stayed in the city and was sent to a family who did not look after him. Robert grew up to become a police detective, where he is sent to the murder scene. At the scene Robert notices coins placed on the victims eyes that brings back memories of his youth and parents murder. Little does Robert know about the challenges he will face when he agrees to solve the case or what the case would do to him… Plot Outline The story follows Robert, a detective in 1947.
