The new face of Social Media

Set in the near future, SoMe follows Richard, a man somewhat out of touch with modern life. Richard loses his job, his relationship, and eventually his dream to social media saturation. SoMe envisages a world where social media interaction (known as SoMe) has infiltrated almost every part of our daily lives. Interaction with computers is carried-out instantaneously using holographic, touch reactive head-up displays. In addition, real-time masks, known as 'Profiles' can be displayed in order to cover a person's appearance, reflect or disguise their mood, or both. After following a path of much resistance, Richard dons his own Profile and is resigned to the new world.
